Hot Enough to Fry a Dog's Brain

Look, the heat index was 114 degrees today.  And my Air Conditioning has not yet been fixed.  As you might imagine, my brain is officially fried.

The kids are off at the X's place where the air conditioning works just fine and I am here sucking on ice chips, catching up on DVR.  And not thinking about anything except how it seems wrong that I should still be sticky and like dripping from heat at 11:30 at night.  gross.  I know.  believe me.  You wouldn't want a vlog of this.  I'm just going to spend the rest of the night melting quietly into the sofa along with my ice chips.

Oh...in other (WAY BETTER) news, my Questions for a Blogger interview with dashing TJ of Studio EightOneSix is up at the Studio Thirty Plus website!  You should go check it out because that's about the most interesting content you're going to get out of me unless you count melted brains on the sofa cushions as "interesting" because that's pretty much all I got going for me at this point in the evening.  Seriously...CLICK HERE to read it.

Anyway, Blackbeard is supposed to, maybe pleasegod come by tomorrow and take a look at the AC.  Heh, heh *fingers crossed!*  because This.  Fucking.  Sucks.

So thankful your post had nothing to do with an actual dog.
I'm thinking you should check into a hotel while your a/c is out. I cannot even imagine how hot and gross 114* is with no air. Well, I suppose I could imagine it, but just don't want to.
Read the interview earlier. Good stuff. Laughed. Looking forward to what cool questions you'll ask the next blogger.

Bwah! No actual dogs were harmed in the writing of this post.

Remember that PSA from a million years ago? "Hot enough to fry an egg? ...Hot enough to fry a dog's brain." It was about leaving your pets in the car in the summer.

ANYway...I can take the heat for a while. still sucks though. ugh. Glad you liked the interview. Hope you like next week's!

Oh, right, that PSA. Now I remember. Whew! :)
I just recalled that Thing 1 and Thing 2 have been jonesing for a dog and thought something really tragic may have happened!
